BACKPACKERS – ICKENHAM CHURCHES HOLIDAY CLUB 2019
This year we’re backpacking – travelling to Jerusalem with Jesus to uncover what happened during his final week with his friends. Along the way we’ll be travelling through France, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, and the UK.
Our whistle stop tour takes place from Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August and is open to all children who are currently in Primary school (Year R to Year 6). Backpackers will be helped on their journey by The Guides and Travel Reps.
KS1 children are invited to travel with us each morning from 10am – 12noon, plus Monday afternoon from 2 – 3.30pm when they will make a t-shirt to wear in their group colour.
KS2 children are invited to travel with us each morning from 10am – 12 noon and afternoons (Mon – Weds) from 2 – 3.30pm.
The HOAC trip, which has become such a popular event, is for those 8 years and over, and will take place on Thursday afternoon. The coach leaves the URC at 1.20pm and returns approx. 4.15pm (please be aware that the return time can be later than stated).
