Holiday Club 24th – 28th July 2017

Come and sign up to join us for Holiday Club 2017.  This year we will be doing activities on the theme of Showstoppers.

It’s going to be lots of fun and is for children of all ages from Reception to Year 6.  There are morning and afternoon sessions (timings below) with optional trip on Thursday afternoon (booking required – see below); however, there is no provision for the children to be on the premises at lunch time.

Holiday Club Medical Form

 

Holiday Club timings:

Morning sessions:  Monday – Friday   9:45 am – 12 noon

Afternoon sessions:  Monday – Thursday   2:00 pm – 3:30 pm  (Please note there is no afternoon session on Friday)

Thursday afternoon trips:  Coach leaves from Ickenham URC at 1:30 pm, but parents are asked to make sure children are at the Church by 1:20 pm at the latest.  Pick up time from the Church after the trip is 4:15 pm.

There is no provision for children at lunch times so they will need to be collected at the end of the morning session and returned at 2 pm for the afternoon session (please see note above about the trip on Thursday afternoon).

 

HOAC Trips on Thursday afternoon:

There are two trips available this year which will both be to Hillingdon Outdoor Activities Centre (HOAC).  Please note, both of these trips have a lower age limit.  The land-based activity is for 7 year olds and over, whereas the Kayaking (water-based activity) is for children who are 8 years old and over and who must be able to swim 10 metres.

 

Games Circuit Trip:

An afternoon of land-based fun for those who are 7 years and over in teams of 10, competing against each other during the two hour session.

Cost:  £15 per child (payable at time of booking)

Typical activities include:

  • Travelling as far as possible in a hamster wheel.
  • Filling a container with water, whilst stopping the water escaping through the holes!

Kayaking Trip: – This trip is now full

A two hour session combining fun and games with kayaking handling skills for participants who are 8 years and over and who must be able to swim 10 metres.

Any child going on this trip will need to wear an old pair of trainers whilst out kayaking and bring a spare set of clothes (including dry shoes) for the return journey.

Cost:  £15 per child (payable at time of booking)
