Palm Sunday

Prayer Space during Holy Week

The URC will be open for you to drop in, when it suits you, during the days and times listed below to spend some time in prayer and personal reflection during Holy Week. There will be a variety of suggested prayer points to aid your personal reflections.

Tuesday 11 April:  1pm – 8pm

Wednesday 12 April:  10am – 8pm

Thursday 13 April:  9am – 12 noon


Wednesday 12 April

2.30pm – 4.30pm Easter Unwrapped - activities for children of all ages up to 11 yrs and their families.  Lots of fun for everyone, with Easter crafts, games, quizzes, an Easter egg hunt, singing and refreshments, stories and meeting new friends.  Parents/carers are welcome to stay and join in the fun over a cup of coffee or tea (there is also a baby and toddler area) or you can drop your children off.  Free entrance but a donation box will be on the door to help cover the cost of materials.  Come and join us, we would love to see you there.

Maundy Thursday

13 April at 7.30pm

Holy Communion at the URC presided by Rev. Felicity Davies followed by reflection.


Good Friday

14 April

10.30am - Walk of witness leaving from outside the URC and finishing at St Giles’.

11.15am - Joint all-age service at St Giles led by Rev. Felicity Davies.

12pm - Frugal Lunch in aid of Christian Aid in St Giles’ Church Hall including a Fairtrade Stall.

2pm - An Hour at the Cross at St Giles’ led by Anne Whitlam.


Easter Day

16 April at 11am

Easter Celebration with Holy Communion led by Peter Williams.
