SUNDAY’S SERVICE – 19th SEPTEMBER 2021
Our service this coming Sunday at 11am will be prepared and led by Anne Byfield. The bible readings will be from Psalm 65 and Mark 9: 30-37 to be read by Dennis Osborne. The hymns will be sung and an anthem – All Creation Speaks His Name by Sally DeFord will be sung by the choir. There is also Holy Communion during the service. As part of the Celebration of Harvest there will be a collection of food which is going to the St Gregory’s Foodbank. There is also, as part of the celebration, a social gathering in the Oasis of “Bring A Picnic” with refreshments.

‘I am recording podcasts and communion services each week for people to join in at home. At present the short podcasts are on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/trinityharrow) and the communion service on YouTube (search Trinity Church Harrow). All are connectable via our website: www.trinityharrow.co.uk‘.
From St Giles, our church in Covenant, Felicity has been recording the following for us to follow:
Weekly services in lieu of 8.00 am and 9.45, following the BCP and Common worship format respectively, which Felicity is running on YouTube. Compline is also running in the same format.
Also Felicity has been preparing a very useful and out interesting “Thought For The Week” item.
I am sure all these opportunities will help us all to find comfort in these worrying times and it is good have the wonderful opportunity to be praying together, although we are apart at the moment.
From our friend Stephen Walker-Williams at Gold Hill we know that they are also streaming services at 10am on Sunday morning at goldhill.org
If you are not aware there is also the following contact system whereby there are a number of volunteers who are prepared to help those in need.
The Bereavement Support Group and Listening Care Group are still operating by telephone and the information can be found on St Giles’ website at www.stgileschurch.co.uk
