Junior Church

During school terms, children and young people usually take part in the first 20 minutes or so of the service, which includes an all-age item.  Then they go with their teachers to another room for their own time of worship and activities to learn more about Jesus and Christian life.

During school holidays, there may be children’s activities in the service, or they can use the facilities of the children’s space.  The children’s space near the back of the church has books, toys, paper and colouring pens, which parents and younger children can use during any service.

All-age services

For Mothering Sunday, Harvest, Remembrance, and Nativity the whole hour or more of Sunday morning worship involves children.  Good Friday and Christmas Day also have worship for all ages, usually starting at 10.00 a.m. for about 45 minutes.  See the Calendar for details.
